#GivingTuesday & Birthday Fundraisers for Charles Adams Studio Project, 2018

#GivingTuesday 2018

This #GivingTuesday I'm raising money for Charles Adams Studio Project and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. And on Giving Tuesday Nov 27, Facebook and PayPal will match a total of $7 Million in donations. Thank you for your support! CASP provides really amazing events (from workshops open for all in the public to exhibitions featuring artwork from all-over to community events with arts & live music & food trucks &&& more!) & any donation helps us make the magic happen for so many people in this area. Please consider donating this Giving Tuesday, there's nothing quite like CASP anywhere, & it'll benefit so many people!

Birthday Fundraiser

For my birthday this year, I'm only asking for donations to Charles Adams Studio Project. I've chosen this non-profit because their mission means so much to me and it’s a truly one of a kind magical place for everyone in Lubbock, Texas (and beyond).

Your donation will go directly to the CASP Print Studio, to fund public outreach printmaking programs (classes / workshops) in 2018. This is the only community print studio of its kind within a 300 mile radius (or more), and the only place that the public and artists can engage with printmaking (from letterpress to silkscreen to lithography, and more). Whether it is ink or paper or photo emulsion or blue tape or etc, every event the print studio hosts costs money.

&, thanks to your generous donations during my birthday fundraiser, CASP was able to get new screens & squeegees for screenprinting, a much-needed papercutter, a wall-mounted pencil sharpener, blue tape (always needed!), emulsion, letterpress inks, & more!

Charles Adams Studio Project (CASP) is a non-profit arts organization located in Lubbock, TX on the high plains of West Texas. CASP was founded by gallerist Mr. Charles Adams with the support of a generous gift from Lubbock business owner and philanthropist Margaret Talkington, and received its 501(c)3 status on June 10, 2011 with an effective date of October 29, 2009.

CASP’s mission is to serve as a cornerstone in the Lubbock Arts District by developing and sustaining a working artists’ community that actively engages the public with the arts. CASP promotes an environment of creative exchange and community engagement through public workshops, demonstrations, lectures, tours, weekly studio classes, and First Friday Art Trail events.
